Top 10 Thoughts

Top 10 Thoughts

#1. I am so excited for our new oven to arrive on Tuesday. Should have been here on the 12th, but it's a long boring story. Lesson learned: Sears is stupid.

#2. Planning on what will be the first thing I bake and cook! I haven't baked in SO long!

#3. We had a great weekend in Minnesota! Presents, food, hockey game, DATE WITH MY HUSBAND, Wii, and all sorts of fun.

#4. We are slightly close to considering buying a Wii after playing it all weekend. I never thought I'd even say that, but you all are right. They're a good time! Except I need to lose 14.2 lbs to get to my healthy bmi according to Wii Fit.

#5. Because of #4, I am signing up to run a 5k with my husband and mother-in-law in May.

#6. Because of #5, I am thankful there are training programs called "Couch to 5k".

#7. 90% sure Harper is saying "hi".

#8. 100% sure it is darn cute.

#9. 100% sure whoever coined the phrase "terrible two's" had only one child.
And that child was only 2.
And hadn't yet turned 3.

#10. I gave up pop for the year 2010.
I miss it.
I dream about it.
But it's a good thing, right?!?

The End.

I've thought about giving up pop...it's SO HARD!!! And it's funny, I feel like Kinsley and Harper are really similar. Kinsley's first word was "Hi" too. Soooo cute. Have fun baking with the new oven!

Hmmmm... I love the wii after playing one too. Probably never be able to afford it, but hey. And yes.....sometimes 3, 4, & 5 can be just as difficult as 2. The good news is that usually around 6 or so it gets better....probably until the teen years- he he he ????

Love your list. And am SO impressed that you're doing a 5K - wow! Glad you had a good weekend and am excited for your new stove! You should have a soda to celebrate your new stove arrival :-) (you'll love the Wii)

Welcome home! The person who coined "terrible 2's" never had energetic twin four year olds either. Much more manageable that 3's...now they're just smarter and sneakier!
Running and no pop? My respect for you just went through the roof! Happy baking this week!

I wanna do a 5k sometime too, or even more. Not sure if it'll ever happen with my back problems but it's always been a goal of mine! And, you are SO right about the terrible two's thing! 3 was MUCH harder on us with Drew. He's 4 1/2and I'm seeing improvemet, a light at the end of the tunnel maybe?! =) I also gave up pop last year, lost 7 pounds in a week! crazy! But, I've been drinking it again with this pregnancy, it helps with headaches and was just one of those cravings I wasn't willing to fight being preggo! I plan to give it up the day this little one pops out! I felt totally different, much more engergy, was very glad I gave it up!

Sounds like you had a fun week-end. That would be cool if you ran a 5k!! One of Erica's first words was "hi". Wish I could hear her :) If you cook Dad and I a meal on your new stove, we'll drive down! Enjoy.
